Introducing Jude

The HandsOn Project team introduces a new member of the team. Jude is a Sign Language interpreter who has had a lot of experience working in the Deaf Community here in Accra. His role as the coordinator of the library will among other things include helping the cause of reaching out to the Deaf community and promoting the cause for inclusion in our society. He will also take on the responsibility of updating all our social media pages.

Introducing Jude Sam

Hi Fam, the name is Jude Lannier Sam, a basketball lover and player, and a big fan of the Golden State warriors.

I have so much love for the deaf community and love working with them a lot. I don’t consider hearing impairment as a disability because imagine a world where everyone was deaf and could use sign language and only a few could talk and didn’t know any sign language, will that make people brand the hearing with the disability tag? We all are unique in our own way, we just have to make the best out of whatever situation we find ourselves in. We are created with a purpose, there’s a good reason regarding whatever challenges come our way.
